Something had to change
People sometimes ask me why I do what I do. Many years ago I had a few personal problems and I tried everything to fix them, but nothing seemed to work.
Sometimes the change lasted for a few weeks but the old habits always returned. I didn’t understand why. I knew what I wanted to do but I didn’t know how. It was frustrating and I felt stuck.
I decided to do something about it because I wanted to get up in the morning with a smile on my face and enjoy my life!
Finding Hypnosis and what I wanted to do
I didn’t like the idea of traditional therapy and merely talking about the problem hadn’t helped me at all so I began to look elsewhere. I found hypnosis.
The first time I experienced hypnosis was quite special to me. I wasn’t sure what to expect but it felt normal, I wasn’t asleep and heard every word. But then things in my life began to change even though I didn't understand why.
I knew what I wanted to do and knew it worked and I have been doing it ever since. I have been able to make a hug difference to thousands of people's lives in the last 14 years and am passionate about showing people how to change and that is why I do what I do.
Becoming a Hypnotherapist
I trained as an advanced hypnotherapist in 2004 at the Atkinson-Ball College, a specialised clinical hypnosis training school that has been established for well over 40 years. After qualifying I was invited to join the exclusive Corporation of Advanced Hypnotherapy, an organisation that requires advanced training to be completed before a hypnotherapist is invited to become a member.
Since I trained I have continued to develop my own blend of hypnotic tools and techniques and think of myself as a student of hypnosis, how it works and finding quicker and more effective ways of helping people. It still amazes me with some of the things I have helped people achieve with hypnosis.
